"A totally new model for 2013, the Kitsune has the Swing Link rear suspension configuration introduced on our Satori and brings to life a 130mm (front) and 120mm (rear) travel, 26-inch wheel all-mountain bike specifically designed to fit even the smallest riders. With great standover height, this bike's rear travel platform is efficient while climbing and plush when descending. Add geometry focused on rider confidence and great handling, and the Kitsune, which means "fox" in Japanese, is sure to outsmart the world's most devious terrain".Kona
"There’s nothing quite like the sweet ride of steel. Especially when it comes to an all-purpose trail bike. The new Kona Explosif takes our hardtail heritage and dashes it with some new—most notably the advantages of 27.5/650b wheels. Featuring a Kona Cromoly double butted frame, the Explosif uses aggressive trail geometry (68-degree headtube, low bottom bracket and short 420mm chainstays), while at the same time providing options via a sliding dropout system that can accommodate singlespeed, a 135mm standard geared system, and even a 142x12 thru axle for gnarlier applications. Throw in ISCG tabs, dropper post cable routing, a 44mm internal headtube for tapered forks and most trails imaginable are now yours to blow up. Enjoy the pyromania".
A comfortable, efficient bike that offers the control and stability of a mountain bike combined with the speed of a road or city bike. With suspension forks and Shimano drivetrain to ensure performance under any condition. The perfect bike for anyone looking to take up the Cyclescheme.
Mondraker is the new member of the Mitchell Cycles family... Come along to the shop and see what we have. "Mondraker was founded in Alicante, Spain in 2001. Born to support the increasing number of riders who were starting to push their limits and the limits of their equipment on the rough Spanish trails.
Read this today and it sounds really good fun. The festival is new and is called 'Orbital' - it is launching in July this year at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester. Prior to Christmas I watched a programme about Goodwood and a mans dream and passion for cars and how that has been carried on through his son who has a passion for cars but also for the land. To see this notice - brilliant. Everyone was so enthused by the Olympics last year just fantastic that this opportunity has arisen.
The 16th Annual Bike ride took place on Sunday and was, as always amazing!! There is something special about people coming together for events like this. On the same day was the Race for Life and in October the Swindon Half Marathon. Makes you feel really proud to see these events and the people who take the time to take part.
15 June 2012 So today - 42 days to go to the opening of the Olympic games.
Here at Mitchell Cycles we have a dedicated and enthusiastic team of people all of whom are keen cyclists and Cytech qualified. Firstly we have Mr ''M'' The founder of the business over 42 years ago!
